Faith & Spiritual Life at CCA

Faith shapes who we are at CCA. Through daily Bible time, chapel, and service opportunities, we cultivate a school culture where students learn to follow Christ, serve others, and live out their faith with confidence and joy.

Why a Christian School?

Parents are mandated by God to educate their children. Children are gifts from God (Psalm 127: 3-5). Parents are responsible to “train up” their children in the way of the Lord and not in the ways of the world (Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4). God’s people are told, “Thus saith the Lord, learn not the way of the heathen . . . For the customs of the people are vain” (Jeremiah 10:2-3). Proverbs 19:27 states, “Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.” It is obvious that God has been very careful to instruct and warn parents as to the type of education a child is to receive. In God’s economy of things, He has ordained three basic institutions: the Family, the Church, and the State. In fulfilling parental responsibility for the education of children, the family usually seeks help and support from one of the institutions outside the home. Since there is no biblical authority for the state being involved in education, the creation of a Christian school under the direction of the church serves as an extension of the home, assisting parents in fulfilling their responsibility to “train up” their children.

Every Day Begins with the Bible

Reflection and Guided Spiritual Practice

At CCA, every morning starts with Bible and prayer—from our youngest 3-year-olds to our graduating seniors. We believe there is no better way to begin the day than by grounding our hearts and minds in God’s Word.

This daily practice is more than a routine. It is a joyful tradition and a core part of who we are. It sets the tone for a Christ-centered education, builds a strong spiritual foundation, and reminds our students that their day—and their life —begins with Him.

It’s just one of the many ways we live out our mission to nurture the heart, mind, and spirit of every student.

Serving Others
Through Giving

At CCA, we believe that giving back is an essential part of living out our faith as Christians. We are proud to serve and support our community in meaningful ways throughout the school year.

Whether it’s through outreach projects, volunteer work, donation drives, or acts of kindness, our students and staff are committed to being the hands and feet of Christ.

Service isn't just something we do — it's who we are.

This year, we were proud to partner with the Grace Community Food Drive to help support families in need.

Our students and families came together to collect canned goods and non-perishable items, showing compassion, generosity, and a heart for service. It’s a blessing to see our school community living out the love of Christ in real, impactful ways.

Service opportunities like this are woven into the fabric of CCA — because faith in action is what truly makes a difference.
