CCA offers dual enrollment opportunities through Wiregrass Technical College, ABAC, VSU, GMC, and other surrounding institutions to high school students in 10th-12th grades. Sophomores (10th) will be limited to one elective class per semester approved by the high school administrator/counselor. This class must be taken online with CCA teacher supervision. Juniors (11th) and Seniors (12th) may take core courses and courses related to their field of study. All classes must be approved by the high school administrator/counselor. If a Junior or Senior leaves campus after CCA classes, but before normal dismissal, a parent must sign a consent form with the administrator. CCA offers the Work-based learning program to high school Juniors and Seniors. They must be 16 years of age and have a designated career path. Approval for the work-based learning program must come from the administrator and students must meet the necessary requirements. The National Beta Club is one of the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organizations. Its mission is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among students. Membership is both an honor and a responsibility, recognizing students who exemplify these qualities in and out of the classroom.
